Revised 10-year capital budget now available for review

The Western Washington University vice presidents have met and considered the feedback gathered from the University Planning and Resources Council, the Board of Trustees and the campus community, along with the strategic needs and goals of the university as refined through the six-year strategic plans.

Based on the feedback, they’ve revised the draft 2015-2025 10-Year Capital Budget Plan. The revised draft plan and accompanying revised summary descriptions of the projects in the 2015-2017 Capital Budget Request can be viewed at the Office of Facilities Development and Capital Budget website.

This revised information will be presented at the UPRC meeting May 7 and to the Board of Trustees for final approval at the June 13 meeting.

The 2015-17 Capital Budget Request and 2015-2025 10-Year Capital Budget Plan will be submitted to the Office of Financial Management in early September. The governor’s proposed capital budget should be released in December. The legislature will commence in January 2015, and a final compromise capital budget should be available by April or May 2015.
