Retirement party for Lewis, Auer set for June 2

The College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University will celebrate the careers of Floyd Lewis and Dave Auer from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, in Parks Hall 441.

Lewis is a professor in the Department of Decision Sciences. He joined Western’s faculty in 1983. An internationally recognized scholar in the area of collaborative information systems, Lewis has been honored with his college’s top awards, including the CBE Distinguished Research Fellow Award.

Senior Instructor David Auer of the Department of Decision Sciences has taught undergraduate and graduate courses since 1980. Auer served as the CBE director of Information Systems and Technology Services for 20 years.

The reception is free and open to the public.
