The Career Services Center is hosting a retirement celebration to honor Renée Murray’s outstanding 42 years of service to Western. The celebration will be held in the Old Main Solarium, OM 590, from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, with remarks at 3:30. Light refreshments and cake will be provided.

Renée Murray joined Western in 1975, first in the Registrar's Office, followed by roles in Testing Services and Academic Advising. In 1996, she started in Career Services as Coordinator of Career Planning and Programs. Twelve years ago with George Kriz, she helped develop the Pre-Healthcare Advising program into a robust service to support and prepare students intending to apply to graduate programs in the healthcare professions. Renée has helped countless students, faculty and staff with her calm, thoughtful, insightful creative ideas with upmost professionalism.

She does this with grace and humor. One word describes her best: Amazing!
