WWU Youth Programs to Host Holiday Funtivities for Kids Dec. 5

Western's Youth Programs will host a Holiday Funtivities celebration from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on Western’s campus.

The event is free and open to community members of all ages.

Families are invited to drop by to enjoy holiday crafts, games and learn about holidays celebrated around the world. Parents will have the opportunity to participate in a “Dollars for Scholars” silent auction with gifts donated from local businesses. All proceeds will benefit WWU Youth Programs scholarships for students in need.

For 32 years, Western Youth Programs have encouraged youth to experience the joy of learning and to consider pursuing opportunities in higher education.

Free parking for the event will be available in Western’s 7G parking lot.
