WWU to Host Wide Array of Summer Youth Programs
Western Washington University’s Youth Programs will be offering a wide array of programs for kids in grades K-12 this summer.
Programs vary in price and registration is available online at http://www.wwu.edu/ee/youth/.
For 33 years, Western’s Youth Programs have encouraged kids to consider opportunities in higher education. Participants gain exposure to a college campus while learning under the instruction of Western’s top-quality educators.
Below are all of the programs being offered this summer:
- College Quest (Entering grades 10 – 12)
- Global Connections (grades 4 – 6)
- Grandparents “U” (grades 1 – 8)
- Odyssey of Science and Arts (grade limitations vary based on program location)
- Summer Youth Theatre Institute (grades 1 – 12)
- Summerwinds (grades 6 – 12)
- Western Kids Camp (grades K – 6)
- WWU Lakewood Jr. Sailing Camp (grades 6 – 12)
Scholarships are available. Members of the public are also welcome to sponsor a student by making a tax deductible donation to the Western Foundation, which facilitates the WWU Youth Programs Scholarship fund.
