WWU to Host Boeing’s Jason Clark at Mukilteo’s Future of Flight Aviation Center Feb. 21

Western Washington University’s Alumni Association will host alumnus Jason Clark (’93), Boeing 777/777X vice president of Operations, for a discussion of the 777, 777X and their impact on the future of the aerospace industry from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.21, at Boeing’s Future of Flight Aviation Center, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., in Mukilteo.

The presentation is part of the alumni association’s “Ignite Your Intellect” speaker series. Catherine Clark, Western’s dean of the College of Science and Engineering, will also discuss new and innovative projects and changes currently under way in her college.

Included in the event is a 90-minute tour of the center. Attendees can view 747, 767, 777 and 787 jets being assembled on the product line. Various exhibits from Western’s College of Science and Engineering will be on display, including two fixed-wing UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones).
