WWU to Host ‘Drupal Global Sprint Days’ Jan. 30-31

Western Washington University will host “Drupal Global Sprint Days” from 10-4 p.m. on the weekend of Jan. 30-31 at the Western Downtown Center in the Herald Building on State Street.

The event is free and open to anyone with prior Drupal experience.

Drupal is an open source content management software that is free to use and download and the Drupal community is made up of over one million users.

This two day “code sprint” will revolve around what Drupal has labeled the “issue queue” and participants will work together to fix the issues listed while thousands of others across the world are working towards the same goal.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop, snacks, and a willingness to learn and help others.
