Western Washington University’s Industrial Design junior studio will showcase a sustainable entrepreneurship exhibition from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at Ideal in Bellingham.
The exhibition, titled “ReMade: Nature” challenges students to design with sustainability in mind, encouraging the reuse, recycling, or repurposing of material. This year, students are presenting 12 modern design solutions that primarily utilize natural materials. The event is free and open to the public.
Western’s Industrial Design program and Ideal are celebrating 10 years of partnership with this showcase. Ideal, a shop located in downtown Bellingham, will showcase the students’ products from Nov. 3-17, while supplies last.
Ideal is located at 1227 Cornwall Ave., in Bellingham. For more information on the showcase, call Ideal at (360) 752-5522 or email Western Washington University’s Industrial Design program at email@example.com.
