WWU Announces Anacortes Summer Youth Program Offerings

Western Washington University will once again offer a variety of Anacortes summer programs for students entering grades 3-10.

Western’s Youth Programs foster academic growth for the youth of Washington through academic enrichment and recreational activities. Anacortes youth programs are offered in partnership with the Anacortes School District and Shannon Point Marine Center.

Programs being offered in Anacortes this summer include Grandparents “U”, Odyssey of Science and Arts and WILD: Western Inspires Leadership Development. Grandparents “U” is a unique intergenerational program for grandparents and grandchildren ages 7-14. Odyssey of Science and Arts is a fun program where students in grades 3-10 make discoveries through exploring hands-on science and art. WILD is a new program for students in grades 7-10 where participants work on leadership skills in an interactive outdoor environment.
