WWU’s SBDC Releases New Loan Programs and Financing Options Guide

Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has updated their Loan Programs and Financing Options Guide for Businesses for 2016.

This guide provides a comprehensive list of funding resources local businesses can use to start expanding, modernizing, or purchasing land, equipment, or facilities.

“This guide is tailored to Whatcom County in an ultimate effort to bring awareness to the capital resources available to local business owners, and the counselors at the SBDC are here to help identify the best alternatives,” said CJ Seitz, director of the SBDC.

This resource was created by the SBDC in Bellingham eight years ago and is updated annually.  SBDC staff, in partnership with the Washington State University SBDC lead office research team, have updated the guide to reflect the most current information; the guide can be viewed and downloaded on the SBDC’s website at  http://www.wwu.edu/sbdc/financing.shtml.

Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center is part of the most comprehensive small-business alliance in the U.S., with more than 1,000 active SBDC programs across the country. Western Washington University’s SBDC receives support from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Whatcom County, the Port of Bellingham, and the City of Bellingham.

Since 1983, Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center has given back to the business community and helped to shape the economic future of Whatcom County by providing free, confidential advising, technical assistance, and research to business owners and managers in an effort to help businesses thrive.
