Western Washington University Youth Programs Announces 2020 Summer Programs

Western Washington University Youth Programs is offering two online programs this summer – GEMS Academy and College Quest. Both programs allow students of different ages to participate in a range of activities, engaging lessons and group activity time. 

GEMS Academy is an event offered for students entering grades 5-8. The program takes place on Friday, June 5 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per student and participants will be given Zoom links to each of the sessions offered the day before the event. 

College Quest is for high school students, grades 10-12. There are two week-long sessions, one from Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17 and the second from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24. During each of the sessions, students learn what it takes to succeed in college and even earn college credit for participation. The program costs $925 per student. Scholarship opportunities are available.
