Western Washington University Offering Second Year of Summer Youth Programs in Poulsbo

Western Washington University Youth Programs is about to launch its second year of summer programming at the WWU Center at Olympic College in Poulsbo.

Presented in partnership with Olympic College and the City of Poulsbo Parks and Recreation, students in grades K-9 will have the opportunity to participate in one of three programs during July including Western Kids Camp, Odyssey of Science & Arts, and an intergenerational program called Grandparents “U”.

“Last year I participated in this wonderful program with my grandson,” said David Mitchell, president of Olympic College.  “Grandparents U is a clear example of how partnerships with universities like WWU are enriching our community.  As a result, I learned a few things and got to know my grandson better.”

All programs are taught by top quality educators at the WWU Center at Olympic College in Poulsbo, allowing students access to college level labs and resources.
