Western on the Peninsulas to Host ‘The Lost Art of Mixing’ Book Discussion Every Thursday Beginning April 21

Western on the Peninsula will host weekly discussions about the book “The Lost Art of Mixing” by Erica Bauermeister from 6-7 p.m. on Thursdays, April 21-May 12 at the WWU Center at Olympic Peninsula College in Poulsbo as part of its Local Literature Book Group series.

The series of events are $25, which includes guest speakers, topic experts and a meeting with Bauermeister.

“The Lost Art of Mixing” is a novel about a woman named Lillian and the bonds made through her restaurant. Bauermeister is the author of three best-selling books, including “The School of Essential Ingredients,” as well as the co-author of two readers’ guides and the co-founder of Seattle7Writers. She received a doctorate in Literature from the University of Washington and has taught at the University of Washington and Antioch University.
