David Marshall to Present ‘The Salish Sea – Recreational Playground, Environmental Theatre, Economic Driver’ at Western’s Leadership Forum Nov. 30

The Fraser Basin Council’s Executive Director David Marshall will be the keynote speaker at the 2015 Western Washington University Leadership Forum on Monday, Nov. 30 at the Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch service beginning at noon; the keynote address will begin at 12:45 p.m.

Marshall, a professional engineer and the executive director of the Fraser Basin Council, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance sustainability in the Fraser Basin and across British Columbia, will present “The Salish Sea – Recreational Playground, Environmental Treasure, Economic Driver.”

The WWU Leadership Forum is an annual opportunity for business and civic leaders to connect with friends of the university and to enjoy an address by a prominent professional. The title sponsor for the event is Moss Adams, a nationally recognized accounting and consulting firm.

All proceeds from the event support student scholarships and table sponsorships are available at the $1,000 Mount Challenger, $2,000 Mount Shuksan and $3,000 Mount Baker levels. Individual tickets are available for $125 each.
