QueerCon is this weekend!

You are invited to join us at the 6th annual WWU QueerCon an all-ages convention & conference, happening in Academic West building on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. QueerCon is an annual event celebrating LGBTQ+ and intersectional creativity and representation in arts, comics, media, science, and society.

More than 50 student and independent artists and creators, nonprofits, WWU clubs, organizations, and local businesses will be tabling and vending at the event!

We will also have panels, talks, and special events including: all-ages board games, table-top RPGs, a planetarium show in AW 210, raffle, queer open-mic, and a talk by Bellingham drag queen Betty Desire.  There will also be a screening of Fire & Flood: Queer Resilience in the Era of Climate Change, a queer ecojustice documentary, followed by a Q&A and discussion with creators of the film and the WWU Queer Eco Justice Club.

Make connections at WWU and the greater Bellingham community, and support student and local artists and creators!
