Pride Celebration Set for June 5

Pride celebration set for June 5Everyone in the Western community is invited to join LGBTQ+ Western for an LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.  The event provides a festive opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ+ people and culture at Western. It will begin on the Flag Plaza on South Campus with a program featuring speakers, a Pride flag raising, and a celebration of LGBTQ+ students who are graduating. The celebration will then continue in MAC Gym with food, fun, and resources.

RSVPs for the event are appreciated for purposes of planning food.

Undergraduate and graduate students who are graduating and would like to be recognized at the Pride Celebration can fill out this simple form. The celebration of graduating students will be collective; we will not read individual students’ names at the event. Western is excited to celebrate our graduates!

Questions about the Pride Celebration may be directed to the LGBTQ+ Director, L.K. Langley, and L.K.Langley@wwu.edu or (360) 650-7500.
