This leave appeared on the Dec. 1-15 timesheet but can only be used starting Dec. 15. Refer to your Collective Bargaining Agreement or Handbook for more details.

Cyclic leave: Employees on cyclic appointments who have scheduled cyclic leave during the intersession must report cyclic leave on their timesheets. Supervisors and approvers are responsible for ensuring that their cyclic employees have an updated cyclic schedule for fiscal year 2014 (July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014), that employees are aware of their scheduled cyclic days, and that the time is reported as noted on the schedule. If cyclic leave is not reported, the employee will be overpaid and the department’s personnel budget will be overspent.

Holidays and alternate workweek schedules: If a holiday falls on a regularly scheduled day of work and employees don't work on the holiday, they report leave for hours they would typically work on that day over and above the hours the system will pay for. If a holiday falls on a normally scheduled day off and employees don't work on the holiday, they should report Holiday Comp Earned hours on the holiday for the appointment percentage only.
