Panel to discuss using lean methods to promote sustainability and environmental management

A panel of experts in the field of lean enterprise will discuss the ways lean principles can be applied to sustainability and environmental management at a forum scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in Academic Instructional Center Room 204.

The panelists will present for 20 minutes each on a lean enterprise topic and discuss how this topic has been applied in their organizations.

Panelists:

  • Dana Cooper, director of supply chain at The Everett Clinic
  • Barry Moore, lean implementation at Heath Tecna
  • Hugh O’Neill, senior project manager at the Washington State Department of Ecology

The expert panel presentations will be followed by a short break for refreshments and an audience question-and-answer session.
