PACCAR’s Carl Hergart to Speak at the Western Leadership Forum Nov. 8

PACCAR’s Director of Advanced Technology Carl Hergart will present “Trucking into the Future” at Western Washington University’s annual Western Leadership Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Bellwether Ballroom.

Guests can check-in for the forum at 11:30 a.m. outside the ballroom. Lunch will be served at noon and the keynote address will begin at 12:45 p.m.

In his current role, Hergart oversees Advanced Powertrain development for PACCAR in North America, and his organization also supports company initiatives in the realm of ergonomics and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Trucks currently transport some 70 percent of U.S. freight tonnage, and PACCAR is the second largest manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks in North America and offers high quality trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.
