Open forums set for Associate VP for HR finalists

Campus interviews are scheduled for the following three finalists for Associate Vice President for Human Resources. The person chosen will fill the role currently held by Chyerl Wolfe-Lee, who retires at the end of this year.

Finalist #1 – Lea Aune

Open Forum:  Monday, Oct 11, 2:45–3:45 p.m.

Lea Aune has worked in Western’s Human Resources department for 16 years, including more than six years as Associate Director of HR. She earned her bachelor’s in public administration with a minor in finance from St. Cloud State University and her MBA at Western.

Finalist #2 – Marshall Parks

Open Forum:  Oct 14, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Marshall Parks has served as Director of Human Resources at the University of Northern Colorado for the last 18 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Augustana College, with certifications as a Title IX investigator, public sector investigator certified mediator and SPHR certification.

Finalist #3 – Curtis Colvin

Open Forum:  Oct. 20, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.

Curtis Colvin has 14 years of experience as Human Resources Director for UW Medicine, preceded by more than 10 years as a human resources generalist, specialist and representative for companies such as Delta Dental of Washington and United Parcel Service. He earned his bachelor’s in business administration at Eastern Washington University with a concentration in human resources, marketing and management.
