Nominations requested for Philip E. Sharpe Community Engagement Award

Do you have a colleague who goes above and beyond in giving back to the community outside of their role at Western Washington University?

Would you like that person to be recognized for his or her service?

Nominations are being accepted for the Philip E. Sharpe Community Engagement Award, given annually to a faculty or staff member (or group of Western employees) involved in outstanding community service, including outreach and engagement activities that benefit the well-being of the community or an individual(s) in the community.

This award will be presented by WWU President Bruce Shepard at the Opening Convocation Ceremony in September.

The award was named in honor of Phil Sharpe in recognition of his outstanding volunteer service to Western as a member of the WWU Board of Trustees.

To nominate, fill out the online form.
