New Online Records Management Training Available from University Archives and Records Management

University Archives and Records Management is now offering a quick, online training module for university employees looking to learning a bit more about records management, Basics of Records Management.

You can also find a link to it on our Help Guides and Training page. This 15-minute tutorial is a great resource for new employees or anyone else interested in the basics of “who, what, and why?” of records management at the University.

While this online resource is a great introductory tool, we still recommend that employees who work with records regularly attend our regular records management trainings.

The offerings for this quarter are:

Managing Your Records on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m.

Digital Records Management on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.

Managing Your Email on Friday, Feb.14 at 2 p.m.

It is recommended that you attend Managing Your Records before attending Digital Records Management or Managing Your Email, so that you are already familiar with the basic concepts and rules of records management. For questions, please contact Rachel Thompson, x6654.
