New employees should register for sexual harassment prevention training

Washington state law and Western Washington University policy require that all new employees attend sexual harassment prevention training.

Faculty and staff new to Western, along with other faculty and staff who have never taken in-person sexual harassment prevention trainingat Western, can sign up by visiting the WWU training website and then selecting "Equal Opportunity Office."

Upcoming dates for for the training are as follows, and classes will be held in Viking Union Room 567:

• 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 13
• 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21
