New Digital Media Center open for tour Feb. 9

The Learning Technology Group at Western Washington University will tour the new Digital Media Center at its noon meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The new center is in Haggard Hall Room 246, accessible via the Library's Haggard Hall entrance, down the hall to the southwest corner.

Robert Clark, interim manager of the center, will lead attendees in the tour. The new center is designed to serve the campus as a facility for new media instruction and production. It includes a TV studio with a green screen and cyclorama wall, cameras, control room and lighting grid. WWU faculty and students can be approved to reserve the TV studio when it's not already scheduled for classroom instruction. Media production workshops open to both faculty and students will soon be available in the center.

Learning Technology Group meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
