New campus TEM solution begins phased rollout starting Dec. 9

SAP Concur, a new cloud-based enterprise-wide travel and expense (TEM) management solution, will go live on Monday, Dec. 9, for a select group of pilot users and early adopters.

Phased rollouts and training to campus users will begin in January 2020, targeting the entire replacement of the current Ellucian TEM by June 2020. The replacement project has been managed by the ITS Project Management Office.

Some of the new Concur Travel and Expense features include:

  • One solution for travelers to request authorization, book flights/hotels/car rentals, and create expense reports; and for approvers to review, audit, and approve travel requests and reimbursements.
  • Mobile technology that allows travelers to manage trips, expenses, and receipts on the go.
  • Ability to email “FYI” summaries to individuals who don’t need approval access but require trip details.
  • Ad hoc approvers as needed.
  • Ability for approvers to change funding, add activity codes, and edit expense allocations (split funding) without returning reports.
  • Offers the ability to identify and assist travelers in the event of an emergency, including risk-level warnings and real-time messaging.
