Munro Seminar panels for Thursday, Nov. 7, canceled due to special session of Legislature

The panels for the Ralph Munro Seminar for Civic Education scheduled for Thursday have been canceled due to the special session of the Washington State Legislature called by Gov. Jay Inslee on Tuesday.

Munro seminar panels for Thursday include legislators, media representatives and others who need to be in Olympia Thursday for the start of the special session.

The following panels have been canceled for Thursday:

  • “Who Built That? Public Infrastructure and the Private Sector,” which had been scheduled for 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
  • “Changing Media Landscape: Impact on Political Coverage,” which had been scheduled for 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.

Panels were held as scheduled on Tuesday. The first panel was held Wednesday; the second on Wednesday was canceled. The panels from Tuesday and Wednesday morning will be aired at a later time to be determined on TVW, the state of Washington’s public TV network.
