'Mongolia Days' events set for April 25 and 26 at WWU

WWU will host its Mongolia Days celebration on campus April 25 and 26. The film "Migration" will screen on Thursday at 5 p.m. in MH 138 as part of the Reel World Film series. On Friday, two public events take place: a conference entitled "Mongolia in the Eyes of the World" with Christopher Atwood (University of Pennsylvania), Karen Stout (Western), and Ambassador Jonathan Addleton, executive director of the American Center for Mongolian Studies. Special guests include: Vice Consul Bayartsengel Damdinjav (Mongolian Consulate at San Francisco) and Zayabaatar Dalai (National University of Mongolia). The conference takes place at 2 p.m. in the Libraries' Special Collections and is followed by an informal reception.
