Man trespassed from campus
A man described by police as a transient was reported on the 4th floor of Nash residence hall today at about 7:48 a.m.
University Police responded and determined the man is not a Western student, faculty or staff member. The man is described as a 26-year-old white male approximately 5’ 9” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. University Police escorted the man off campus and issued him a trespass notice, which trespasses him from campus.
It is unknown how the man gained entrance to Nash. The man was not visiting anyone at the residence hall and the reason for his presence was unclear. University Residences officials emphasize students be very careful about who they allow into residence halls when they use their keys to access the building.
