LGBT quarterly social set for Nov. 19

The LGBT Advocacy Council at Western Washington University is holding its first quarterly social of the year at 5 p.m. Nov. 19.

This first social is a potluck at the residence of one of our Council member Raine Dozier. A couple of surprises are in store, including the high likelihood that a wonderful local speaker will appear to briefly share some personal stories and insights into the experience of being an LGBT citizen living in Whatcom County.

  • What to bring: Food assignments will be based the first letter of your last name as follows:
  • A – C Appetizers/Snacks (Veggies & dip, chips, etc.)
  • D – F Drinks (Bottled water, 2-liter soda, etc.)
  • G – J Salad (any variety), Side Dish
  • K – R Main Dish
  • S – T Dessert
  • U – Z Plates, napkins, cups

RSVP: Trula Nicholas at trula.nicholas@wwu.edu (with your YES and what you will likely bring to share).

Those with special dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.) should make those known when contacting Nicholas so arrangements can be made. Those who don’t have the ability to make or bring something shouldn't let that stop them from attending! Partners/spouses and family are welcome, as usual.
