Japan Night set for Nov. 15

Students participating in the Asia University America Program at Western Washington University will present their culture at Japan Night in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus Nov. 15.

From 7 to 9 p.m., visitors can enjoy festival games, a tour of Japan, origami, calligraphy, sushi-rolling, traditional clothing, chopsticks etiquette and a Japanese book exchange booth.

Students also will be preparing samples of favorite Japanese dishes, with an assortment of rice crackers and Japanese green tea to complement.

This event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend.
