International students to discuss global communication, gender and marriage Dec. 2
Students with diverse backgrounds and differing beliefs will compare and contrast methods of communication, gender roles and marriage practices as they relate to their native countries and their experiences living in the United States at a special panel Dec. 2.
The students, who are taking part in Western's Intensive English Program, are from Senegal, Germany, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
The panel discussion will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Bond Hall Room 109. Participating IEP students are Zainab Almozayen, Abdullah Banawas, Seringe Diouf, Roman Leontiev, Dobin Park and Jongae Won.
