International Opportunities Fair set for Jan. 28

Western Washington University’s annual International Opportunities Fair will take place on campus from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room. The fair is the largest campus-wide event dedicated to providing information about work, volunteer, teach, study and internship positions abroad.

Fair attendees can meet with representatives from approximately 50 organizations. Some participating organizations include the Peace Corps, Adventure Teaching, Academic Programs International, Semester at Sea, Wildlands Studies and a wide range of internationally focused programs at WWU.

Also featured will be the WWU Global Learning Faculty-led Programs.  Join WWU faculty in short-term programs abroad in disciplines such as Environmental Studies, Sustainable Development, Art, English, and Communications. Summer 2016 programs will take place in Greece, Italy, Mexico, Japan and Rwanda, to name a few.

  • Native English speakers with 4-year degrees can teach overseas: English Teaching Employer Panel Discussion - Thursday, January 28, 4:00p.m., Viking Union Room 552
