International culture night May 5 to feature students from around the globe

International students studying at Western Washington University share about themselves and where they're from at a free international culture night event May 5.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet people from around the world and to learn about different cultures through demos, games, food tastings and music.

The event, which is being put on by Western's Language and Culture Programs, is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the Viking Union Multi-Purpose Room. The event is free and open to the public.

Language and Culture Programs welcomes learners from around the world through the Asia University America Program, Intensive English Program, and through customizable education experiences.
