Intensive English students to share their written work Nov. 20

How do international students deal with adjusting to life in the United States? A handful of students in in level four of the Intensive English program at Western Washington University will be displaying their writing in the Learning Commons in Wilson Library through Nov. 23.

The students' writings cover such topics as studying English in the U.S., adjusting to a new culture, dealing with anxiety and whether English should be the official language of the U.S.

They'll present their work at a special event from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 20, and light snacks from their countries -- Saudi Arabia, South Korea, China and Taiwan -- will be served.
