Huxley professor's book a finalist for Independent Author Network Book of the Year

Huxley Professor Gigi Berardi's book "FoodWISE" has earned recognition as a finalist for the 2020 Independent Author Network Book of the Year.

The book, released in 2020, presents a systematic way of looking at food choices and was inspired by her students' questions about the "right" foods to eat, sustainability and food justice. It was a finalist in the Non-Fiction Food/Cooking category for the IAN Book of the Year Awards.

The Independent Author Network (IAN) is a group of like minded authors who are self published or published by a small indie press.
