Huxley College to hold Thursday reflection session to discuss recent events

Huxley College of the Environment invites the Western Washington University campus community to participate in a reflection session at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in Communications Facility Room 120. This gathering will offer an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to discuss issues of diversity and inclusion, especially in light of recent events on campus, and to consider how we, as a college community, can be supportive of all students. The discussion will be facilitated by instructor Sheri Russell, who has more than two decades of experience with diversity issues, conflict resolution and environmental law.

The session is also part of a larger effort already underway to create a college-level strategic plan for diversity and inclusion within Huxley College. All opinions, experiences, and perspectives are welcome.

This reflection session will occur during the normal Huxley College Speaker Series time slot.
