How has India handled insurgent movements? WWU professor to explain May 10

Bidisha Biswas, an associate professor of political science at Western Washington University, will present “Managing Conflicts while Managing Reputations: India's Responses to Insurgent Movements” at noon on Thursday, May 10, in Communications Facility Room 105 on the Western campus.

Biswas' presentation is part of the 2011-12 faculty research presentation series from Western's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The purpose of the series is to provide opportunities to learn about research, publication of research and the direction research is taking in various disciplines and cross disciplinary areas of the university.

Presentations are free and open to the public. The presentations underscore the importance of research development and creative efforts by members of the university community.
