Graphic design student included in international design awards book

Branson Anderson, a June 2011 graduate of Western Washington University’s department of design, has been included in the upcoming “Graphis New Talent Design Annual” publication. The 2012 awards book is currently at the publisher for a late fall release.

“The New Talent Design Annual” is considered to be the most exclusive juried student competition worldwide and features the best student design work from programs around the globe. Anderson’s project “Eski” was a packaging solution completed during the 2011 Three-Dimensional Graphic Design course taught by WWU Art professor Cristina de Almeida.

After graduating, Anderson accepted a position with Tether, a full-service design and branding firm based in Seattle that serves clients such as Blu, Gatorade and Microsoft.
