Flags lowered June 21 in memory of Army corporal

Gov. Jay Inslee, in memory of Army Cpl. Justin R. Clouse, 22, of Sprague, has directed that Washington state and U.S. flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff in his memory on Saturday, June 21. Cpl. Clouse died on June 9 during a security operation in southern Afghanistan.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. June 21 at the Life Center Foursquare Church, 1202 N. Government Way, Spokane. Graveside service with Military Honors will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
