Flaggers on High Street on Dec. 19 for storm water pipe work

Selected occupants in Bond Hall, College Hall, Haggard Hall and Carver,

The storm water pipe under the brick service road between Haggard Hall and College Hall is scheduled to be repaired with a cast-in-place pipe lining - a pipe repair method that does not require excavation. In preparation for this work, the contractor will use a video scope to thoroughly investigate and document the condition of the pipe between the manholes on Wednesday December 19.  One manhole associated with the project is located on High Street while the other manhole is on the brick service road. The investigation will take no longer than two hours and will begin around 11 a.m.  Contractors will provide flaggers for pedestrian and vehicle access control during all project activities. Please note, there is ample room to direct vehicles and pedestrians safely around both project manholes. Emergency vehicle access will be accommodated if necessary.

With the information gained from the investigation, appropriate materials will be ordered. The cast-in-place pipe lining will be installed at a later date, most likely in March of 2019.
