First-ever Western Give Day is June 1

Western Washington University's first Western Give Day will take place on June 1. Western Give Day is a 24-hour giving challenge that encourages the entire Western community to donate to their favorite department, program, scholarship, team or club on campus.

Primarily through social media, alumni, parents, employees, students and friends will be invited to participate in Western Give Day by making a donation to the programs on campus that have made a powerful impact in their lives. Donations up to the first $50,000 will be matched dollar for dollar, and the match will follow the donor’s gift designation.

The goal of Western Give Day is to secure additional resources that will have a campus-wide impact for years to come on students, faculty and programs. This is a historic day for Western to increase awareness of how higher education changes lives while uniting the entire WWU community.

Western Give Day is an initiative of the Western Washington University Foundation.
