Faculty invited to spring commencement at Civic

The Registrar’s Office at Western Washington University would like to invite faculty to attend the spring commencement ceremonies held on Saturday, June 11, at Civic Stadium off campus.

Western is temporarily changing locations due to the renovation of the Carver Academic Facility. Two ceremonies will take place.

Faculty are asked to attend the ceremony in which their college is represented. The master’s graduates will walk with their corresponding colleges.  Departments or participating faculty are asked to submit names and associated departments no later than Friday, June 3rd by emailing Emily Marrs at Emily.Marrs@wwu.edu or calling 360-650-3701.

  • Ceremony One: 9 a.m. - Candidates from Science & Engineering, Business & Economics, Fairhaven, Huxley, and Woodring will attend.
  • Ceremony Two: 1:30 p.m. - Candidates from Humanities & Social Sciences and Fine & Performing Arts will attend.

Faculty who need regalia for the ceremony can email Scott - Royal T Papers at Scott@RoyalTPapers.com.  Please provide the following information in the email:
