Faculty Invited to Attend Summer Commencement

The summer commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, August 22 in a new venue at the Performing Arts Center.

We are temporarily changing locations due to the Carver renovation. There will be two ceremonies in the summer due to the size of the smaller venue; please see times and details below.

Faculty are asked to attend the ceremony in which their college is represented.  Departments or participating faculty are asked to submit names and associated departments no later than August 10 by emailing Emily Marrs at Emily.Marrs@wwu.edu or calling x3701.

Ceremony One: 9 a.m.: Candidates from the College of Science & Engineering, College of Business & Economics, College of Fine & Performing Arts, Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies and Huxley College of the Environment will attend.

Faculty already confirmed: Janet Finlay, Donald Larsen, Mike Mana, Bob Mitchell, Marian Ritter, Sharon Shewmake, Jianying Zhang.

Ceremony Two: 12:30 p.m.: Candidates from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences and Woodring College of Education will attend.

Faculty already confirmed: Elizabeth Boland, Dana Brickham, Seth Feinberg, Rich Fonda, Joe Gosen, Deb Nelli
