Faculty Drop-In Center grand opening is today

Check out the new Faculty Drop-in Center, meet the staff and learn how this space can work for you at a special grand opening event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Haggard Hall Room 154.

At the center, faculty can work on course materials independently with “on-demand” support for instructional technologies and design, arrange for small group trainings, or get individualized instruction on technologies provided by Western, including Canvas, Relay 5 (lecture-capture software), web-conferencing options, and polling/response systems. Instructional designers will be available to help with course design, assessment, or online teaching strategies. Adjuncts and faculty with offices at distant campus locations may find this space especially useful.

In addition to attending the grand opening, faculty may use the space by:

• Using Drop-in Hours: M 10-12, T 12-2, W 2-4
• Making Appointments: TLT.FDIC@wwu.edu
• Taking Chances: Just stop by!
