Faculty and staff needed to help with C2C Day Oct. 23

Hundreds of area fifth graders will get a taste of the Western Washington University campus on Compass 2 Campus Day Tuesday, Oct. 23.

Faculty and staff are needed to help present the university by opening their classrooms to young students so that they can see Western faculty in action.

Those who teach on Tuesday, Oct. 23, are asked to consider allowing groups of fifth graders, along with their WWU student mentors, into classes for brief visits to observe what a university classroom has to offer.

Each group will include five to seven fifth graders and at least two WWU students. Groups will stay approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
