ESM Contract Management Module Project Launch

The Procure to Pay Project, Contract Management Module (CMM) implementation is scheduled to start in September 2017 with an estimated completion date of June 2018. This is the third phase of the Procure-to-Pay system aimed at making it easier for users to conduct business needs.  A cross-functional team has been established that includes members from across campus representing key subject areas and frequent contract initiators. A preliminary kick-off meeting with ESM Solutions and the Core Team members is scheduled for August 22-23.

Implementation of the CMM will enhance WWU’s ability to manage the wide variety of contracts that are necessary for campus activities. There are almost 3,000 active contracts in place covering a wide range of campus business from musical performances to building construction, student foreign travel programs to internship agreements.  This new web-based tool will make it easier to initiate contracts on-line, check contract status, and provides greater visibility on contract expiration, renewal and provisions.
