Ergonomics evaluation available for WWU employees working from home

Dear Western Community,

WWU is aware that some of you are experiencing increased levels of discomfort during these challenging times in your work-from-home environment. Because we value staff and strive to provide safe work environments on and off-campus, please note that we are available to provide continuous support to reduce conditions and behaviors that could result in injuries while working from home. Western is committed to supporting a safety culture that will help maintain staff member health and productivity.

So, as we think about your experiences at home, a few questions emerged concerning your workstations:

  • Do you have a healthy ergonomic setup for your equipment?
  • Do you have the equipment you need?
  • Do you need assistance with your office setup?

To follow up on any of these questions, please contact Bruce Boyer at (360) 650-2947 or boyerb3@wwu.edu for ergonomic consultation. General information on workstation setup is also available on EHS' Tips for Working and Learning from Home webpage.

Regards,

Sue Sullivan
