Employees: Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee is accepting Tech Initiatives abstracts 

The Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee is accepting Tech Initiatives abstracts for the current academic year. All Western employees and students may apply.

Abstracts from employees are due Jan. 13. The Abstract Form is on the STF website (https://its.wwu.edu/stf/).

Tech Initiatives make up 12.43 percent of the Student Technology Fee. In addition, the Tech Initiatives did not spend all allocated funds last year.

The Tech Initiatives portion of the fee pays for technology projects—proposed by employees and students—that support the Student Technology Fee mission.

The STF mission:

The Student Technology Fee provides Western students with adequate and innovative technology experiences by:

• Broadening/enhancing the quality of the academic experience,
• Providing additional student access to technology, and
• Increasing integration of technology into the curriculum.
