Employee bus passes go on sale Sept. 8

Employee bus passes for 2015-16 go on sale Sept. 8. A few items have changed:

  • The WTA bus pass will no longer be available as a WWU academic year pass.
  • All passes will instead be sold quarterly, corresponding with the WWU quarterly academic calendar.
  • The summer quarter pass will now be available for the same $23 reduced price as fall, winter and spring passes.
  • The new purchase procedure and E-sign form are designed to ensure convenience for employees who wish to pre-order multiple quarterly passes for the year.

WWU passes will continue to be accepted on the 80X County Connector. WWU and Aramark Employees are both eligible to purchase the reduced price WTA bus pass.

Getting the pass:

  • To request a pass for more than one quarter, check the box next to each quarter you plan to purchase on the bus pass application form.
  • If paying via payroll deduction, you will receive an email at the beginning of each quarter to authorize the $23 deduction.  Once you have authorized the charge, your pass will be sent to your campus mailstop.
  • If paying at the Student Business Office, you will receive an email at the beginning of each quarter asking for authorization to place the $23 charge on your account.  When you have paid, notify Sustainable Transportation and we will arrange a way for you to get your pass.
  • You will have the option to cancel your bus pass purchase at the beginning of each quarter by responding to the email you receive from Transportation.
