Digital Cinema Production Kit now available to campus
The Digital Cinema Production Kit is a package of equipment that can be checked out from Classroom Services in Haggard Hall. The kit contains cinema-level production equipment and is designed to be used by students in a studio environment or on location to learn how to use professional equipment to produce media.
The kit includes:
- Sony FS7 4K Camera Body
- 2x Fujinon Cine Zoom Lenses (18-55 and 50-135)
- Sachtler Ace Tripod System
- Atomos Ninja External Viewfinder and Recorder
- 2x 500 Gb SSDs with Reader
- 2x 128 Gb XQD Cards with Reader
- 2x Anton Bauer Batteries with Charger
- Cables, Bags, and Accessories
What you need before you check out the kit:
- Pre-production package.
- This includes a treatment, full script, story board, shot list, cast and crew list, location scouting report, and production timeline.
- Training.
- The Digital Media Center staff conduct one-on-one and group trainings. Expect to spend 4-6 hours training before you check out the gear.
- Professor or Club Advisor/Sponsor.
- This helps us ensure that all projects have a truly academic purpose.
